The San-Dal is based on original Namibian hunting sandals made by the Ju’/hoansi San people. But traditional techniques (and barefoot wisdom) are dying out. Working with the Future Footwear Foundation, the social enterprise aims to regenerate indigenous craft and community. Handmade from eland and gnu leather by local craftspeople, all proceeds go towards sustaining the project long term.
