Yoga

Yoga allows you to have a moment for yourself to unwind and forget any worries or stresses that may have crept up from the outside world. Yoga encourages an awareness of breath, which is vital to the practice, as it not only enhances postures but allows new energies to circulate the body. Many yoga poses require participants to support the weight of their own body in new ways, with this, muscle strength is built and strengthened and flexibility is increased enabling a healthy way of life. 

Yoga also encourages complete detoxification of the body by the gentle stretching of muscles and joints as well as massaging the various organs, it helps ensure the optimum blood supply to various parts of the body and helps in the flushing out of toxins. 

The Yoga team at Activ follow an ethos of enhancing our clients’ wellbeing, as well as creating an opportunity for clients to build confidence, strength and flexibility.
